About me
Hello! I’m Gayathri Balachandran, an environmental and atmospheric science researcher with over 5 years of experience in satellite remote sensing, MATLAB programming, and big data analysis. I’ve worked with leading institutes like IIT Madras, IIT Palakkad, IIT Delhi, IISc Bengaluru, and Banaras Hindu University, contributing to cutting-edge projects in climate change, air quality, and environmental monitoring.
My expertise lies in:
- MATLAB programming for environmental data analysis
- Processing and interpreting satellite and reanalysis datasets
- Research in air pollution, climate variability, and aerosol dynamics
- Creating data-driven insights for academic and applied research
I’m passionate about teaching and helping students and researchers develop strong technical skills, especially in applying programming to real-world environmental problems. I offer online mentoring, project guidance, and hands-on training—especially for beginners who want to explore environmental science through data and code.
If you're a student, researcher, or professional looking to improve your skills in MATLAB, satellite data analysis, or environmental research, I’d love to help you on your journey!
