I’m Gautami Karmarkar, a recent postgraduate in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, with a keen interest in Human Resources and how psychology can shape better people practices. My academic journey has introduced me to areas like employee motivation, organizational development, workplace mental health, and DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility). Through research and projects, I’ve explored how authentic people-centric strategies can influence performance, culture, and employee commitment. What excites me most is the space where psychology meets HR designing systems that are not just efficient, but also empathetic. From recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and wellness, I aspire to contribute to HR with insight, intention, and impact. I’m currently exploring roles and opportunities where I can grow, learn, and support organizations in building thoughtful, inclusive, and engaging workplaces.
