Hi, I’m Gauri Shinde — a data analyst and researcher based in Boston, MA. I recently graduated with a master’s degree in Analytics with a specialization in AI and Machine Learning from Northeastern University. With a strong foundation in data science, machine learning, and visualization, I’ve worked on impactful projects that bridge technology with real-world applications. From building predictive models for healthcare and customer churn to conducting award-winning research in DNA sequencing-induced cancer detection, I’m passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful insights that drive change. Currently, I work as a Data Analyst at Mass General Brigham, where I contribute to research and clinical innovation by developing scalable analytics pipelines, automating workflows, and building interactive dashboards for healthcare data. My interdisciplinary research also extends to speech disorders, cognitive biases, and decision-making psychology, where I explore AI-driven solutions to support better outcomes. Beyond work, I’m passionate about mentorship and helping others navigate academic and professional journeys, especially international students adapting to life and careers in the U.S. Through my platform and conversations, I aim to provide clarity, avoid common pitfalls, and empower others to achieve their goals confidently. Outside of data and research, I’m a trained Kathak dancer and find joy in art through sketching and painting. I also run a YouTube channel, Husky Grad Diaries, where I share insights and tips about life as an international student and stories to inspire growth and resilience.
