While leading Operations / Supply Chain / Plant Management in these companies, Ganesan has noteworthy contributions in the space of Strategic and Master Planning of Supply Chain and Manufacturing, creating plant infrastructure from concept through design, construction review, commissioning to ramp up, operations leadership as well as Business Process Re-engineering leading to SAP implementation and Operations Excellence using Continuous Improvement initiatives. Track record of success in building business strategies and manufacturing plans to meet customer and profit targets and energizing teams to deliver superior results, often within tight time frames and budgets. This won National Awards and accolades for best manufacturing Plant. In 2003, basis implementation of best practices in business excellence in Total Dubai, the company won the Dubai Quality Award for best Manufacturing Plant in UAE, as well as other key awards included Jebel Ali Free Zone Award for Environmental Health and Safety in 2005 and runner up for Sheikh Khalifa Business Excellence Award in 2006. His latest and proudest achievement is creating of one of the high capacity, complex and fully automated Lubricants Manufacturing Plant coupled with Joint Venture Marine Terminal in Shell Singapore during the period 2011-2017. Ganesan holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Materials Management along with Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from India as well as an accredited Dubai and Singapore Quality Award Assessor having assessed institutions, in the regions, for national awards. He has been an active trainer in his organizations including developing innovative “Play and Learn” training modules for mastering new process development and understanding.
