This session is designed for students, recent graduates and young professionals who want to apply for roles in International Organisations, development institutions, foundations, NGOs, policy consultancies and mission-driven organisations.
The session can focus on one or more of the following areas:
• Understanding whether a vacancy fits your profile
• Improving your CV for policy, development and international affairs roles
• Strengthening your cover letter
• Preparing for written tests, case studies and policy-style exercises
• Structuring answers for competency-based interviews
• Translating internship, academic, NGO, consulting or policy experience into stronger applications
• Building a realistic application strategy for OECD, UN, EU and development-sector opportunities
My approach is practical and evidence-based. I help you identify what the vacancy is asking for, what parts of your profile are strongest, where the gaps are, and how to present your experience clearly and credibly.
I bring direct experience from the OECD across development finance, philanthropy, sustainable ocean economies, data analysis, policy reporting, dashboards, senior stakeholder engagement and institutional delivery. I have also supported recruitment-related processes, including CV and cover letter screening, written test design, interviews and hiring documentation.
Before the session, you can share your CV, cover letter, target vacancy or specific questions. During the session, we will work on concrete improvements and define clear next steps for your application.
