2d:T46b,I've spent about 12 years in backend engineering at Amazon, Agoda and now Canva in Sydney. Along the way, I've been on the interviewer's side of the table 100+ times, managed a small team, and moved countries twice for work (India → Thailand → Australia). I've probably made most of the mistakes you're worried about making. I can help with: * Career growth: getting to the next level, IC vs Management, or getting unstuck in a role that isn't moving. I've done the IC → EM → IC loop myself. * Interview preparations * An honest read on your resume from someone who has shortlisted a lot of them. * Thinking through a move from India to an engineering role abroad. * Mock interviews, run as close to a real backend loop as I can make them, with written feedback afterwards. How I run sessions: you fill out details in a 2-line form when you book, so that I can come prepared and we spend the whole call on your questions. I only open one slot a week, on Sunday afternoons (Sydney time), so I can give each session proper attention. I also write about backend engineering and careers on Medium: freezefrancis.medium.com1e:[[["$","$L10",null,{"id":"meta-pixel-3659591550929113","strategy":"afterInteractive","children":"!function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s)\n{if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function(){n.callMethod?\nn.callMethod.apply(n,arguments):n.queue.push(arguments)};\nif(!f._fbq)f._fbq=n;n.push=n;n.loaded=!0;n.version='2.0';\nn.queue=[];t=b.createElement(e);t.async=!0;\nt.src=v;s=b.getElementsByTagName(e)[0];\ns.parentNode.insertBefore(t,s)}(window,document,'script',\n'https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbevents.js');\nfbq('init','3659591550929113');\nfbq('track','PageView');"}],["$","noscript",null,{"children":"$29"}]],["$","script",null,{"type":"application/ld+json","dangerouslySetInnerHTML":{"__html":"$2a"}}],["$","$L2b",null,{"service":{"id":196859,"title":"Quick Chat","description":"
