The Vela Poéticas Experience is an immersive artistic journey created by Fiza Somjee—an Indian songwriter, poet, music producer and multidisciplinary artist whose work exists at the intersection of music, literature, and ritual.

Through delicate ukulele instrumentals, live poetry readings, and sensory candle rituals, Fiza transforms each gathering into an intimate space for reflection, connection, and shared emotion. Featuring selected works from her poetry collections, Love Is The Last Thing and Not Your Inspiration, the experience invites audiences to slow down, listen deeply, and rediscover the beauty of vulnerability.

At the heart of the experience is Vela Poéticas, Fiza’s candle house, where fragrance, poetry, and stillness come together as an extension of her artistic practice. Each ritual is thoughtfully designed to engage the senses, allowing scent, sound, and spoken word to intertwine into a single narrative.

Guests are also invited to explore a curated merchandise table featuring signed poetry books and handcrafted Vela Poéticas candles, offering them the opportunity to take a piece of the experience home.
