Hi there! I'm Fathima Ansari, an adventurous educator originally from India. My passion for language and curiosity about the world led me to pursue a Master's in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the University of Alcalá in Madrid, Spain. Thankfully, I received a scholarship that covered my accommodation expenses during my Master's studies, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the experience. After completing my Master's, I couldn't resist the allure of academia and decided to continue my journey at the same university for a PhD in English Linguistics and Gender Studies. I'm currently in the final stages of my doctoral studies and will be graduating at the end of this year – a dream come true! Living abroad has given me the opportunity to embrace diverse cultures. I'm happily married to a wonderful man with both Spanish and French heritage, and we've made our home in Kuwait. As a result, I've become quite familiar with the administrative processes for India, Spain, France, and Kuwait. I'm not only dedicated to my academic pursuits but also to mentoring university students who want to study abroad. Guiding them in finding the right course, calculating expenses, navigating the social aspects of a new city, and even assisting in job opportunities has been a rewarding experience. As an English Instructor, I've had the pleasure of teaching in multicultural environments to students of different age groups. It's incredible to witness how language and cultural exchange enrich the learning experience for everyone involved. My journey has been full of discoveries, and I'm thrilled to continue making a positive impact on the world through education and intercultural connections.
