What is the NOC required for Pragati?

The NOC (No Objection Certificate) is a formal document from your college / institution / principal / HOD stating that they have no objection to you participating in the Pragati program (which may include online + some in-person/onsite sessions).

It is basically an assurance that your institution permits you to attend the program and that your participation will not conflict with your academic responsibilities.

In sample NOCs, the document mentions the specific student, their course & duration, and explicitly states the institute has “no objection with the candidate pursuing Pragati – Path to Future internship program by Infosys Springboard.”

Many participants in earlier cohorts (blogs, videos) mention that this NOC is mandatory if you are a college student (i.e., currently enrolled).

How to get / write the NOC

To get your NOC, follow these typical steps (based on publicly shared formats and experiences):

1. Draft a Request Letter

Address it to the Principal or Head of Department (HOD) of your college

Mention your name, roll number / registration number, program (e.g., B.Tech, department, year/semester)

State that you wish to participate in the “Infosys Springboard Pragati: Path to Future” program

Request them to issue a “No Objection Certificate” stating that the college has no objection to your participation

Mention that you’ll manage your academic responsibilities and that the program schedule will not clash with mandatory university exams or lectures

Include contact / program reference if needed

2. Follow the Format / Sample

Several videos show sample “approval letter / NOC format” for Pragati cohorts.

The NOC should ideally include signatures & stamps from the HOD & Principal

Include the date, and the heading “No Objection Certificate” clearly

3. Obtain Signatures & Seal

Get it signed by the concerned authorities: HOD → Principal

Seal / stamp of the institution

4. Submit / Email It

In earlier cohorts, students were asked to email the NOC to the Pragati / Springboard support team (e.g. [email protected]) by a certain deadline.

Ensure that the NOC reaches them before the registration / verification deadline

5. Check Deadlines

The NOC submission deadline is usually alongside or just after the program registration window.

Missing to submit it in time can lead to rejection / cancellation of your registration.
