About Me From a young age, I envisioned myself contributing to India’s development landscape, particularly at the grassroots level. This vision has been the compass guiding my academic and professional journey. I hold a degree in Humanities and Social Sciences from the Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC), University of Delhi, followed by an M.A. in Social Work from the prestigious Delhi School of Social Work. These formative years laid the foundation for my passion for meaningful impact. My Professional Journey With over 4 years of experience across diverse roles in project management, research, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement, I have navigated the dynamic and ever-evolving landscape of the social impact sector. My journey has shaped me into a results-driven professional with a strong grasp of field realities, an empathetic approach to community engagement, and a problem-solving mindset. Current Role Currently leading the district-level implementation of the Vidhya Samiksha Kendra (VSK) initiative in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, as the District Program Manager (DPM) at ConveGenius, under the World Bank-supported STARS Program. My role involves coordinating with government stakeholders, managing field teams, and driving the adoption of AI-powered EdTech tools to improve learning outcomes in government schools. I design strategic implementation roadmaps, conduct regular monitoring and review meetings, and ensure timely issue resolution to streamline program delivery. By leveraging real-time data through the SwiftChat platform, I help translate insights into actionable interventions, making governance more responsive, transparent, and outcome-oriented. Past Experiences *District Program Partner (DPP), GDi Partners: I led the on-ground implementation of NITI Aayog’s outcome-based EdTech initiative in Sonbhadra, one of India’s most underserved districts. My work spanned 70 government schools and focused on improving foundational learning, engaging community stakeholders, and navigating infrastructural challenges through hybrid models. *Consultant – Social Initiatives, BYJU’S: As part of the NITI Aayog Aspirational Districts Programme, I launched and managed two tech-enabled education programs in the conflict-affected regions of Baramulla and Kupwara in Jammu & Kashmir. My work directly impacted hundreds of students and provided them with access to quality digital learning resources. *Program Lead, LIFE Lab Science Program: I trained over 50 science teachers and facilitated hands-on science education sessions across 5 schools in Delhi NCR. This role allowed me to blend pedagogy with innovation, making science more accessible and engaging for students. *Project Consultant, SR Asia: My association with SR Asia spanned over 2 years, during which I contributed to and led over 12 monitoring and evaluation (M&E) projects across India. These projects involved in-depth field research, impact assessment, and policy recommendations, covering sectors such as education, health, and livelihoods. Collaborations and Research Engagements I have had the privilege of contributing to impactful initiatives with institutions like the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Jamia Millia Islamia University, the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, Nusocia, and Stanford University. My work in these collaborations included primary research, capacity building, and advocacy, further enriching my understanding of systemic change. My Initiatives Opp Avenue: I am the founder of ‘Opp Avenue’—a thriving community of 7,500+ professionals committed to democratizing information around opportunities in the social impact space. What began as a humble WhatsApp group has now become a pan-India network of passionate changemakers. Beyond Work Outside of my professional commitments, I find purpose in creative expression and cultural exploration. I write and recite poems in Hindi and Urdu, enjoy team sports like volleyball and cricket, and capture everyday beauty through mobile photography. I also love mentoring young minds and volunteering with grassroots organisations to stay connected with the field.
