About me
I am actively trying to build a world where one’s birth & circumstances don’t stand in the way of their opportunities. I use my skills in project management and learning design to do this. Open for work!
* As a project manager at the university-wide Office of Diversity, Belonging, and Inclusion at Harvard University, I oversee the Culture Lab Innovation Fund. This $1/4 million grant program supports innovative and inclusive projects on campus. I manage & execute on the marketing, outreach, grant evaluation structure, and funding disbursement.
* I built the "Young Leader's Program" at Urraan in October 2022, a social initiative through which we have trained 260+ students. As a learning designer, I built the program around the Understanding Goals of building greater self-esteem, leadership, communication, and professional skills of driven but underserved Pakistani youth aged 18 to 25 years.
* As the 13th hire at Goldfinch Finance (powered by Warbler Labs & funded by a16z), I was the Community Project Lead. I managed a community of 30,000+ liquidity providers/investors through Discord & Twitter to fund unbanked ventures in the Global South.
* I was the first hire at Devsisters outside Asia.
* I drove 2000 miles+ in 3 weeks for Minerva University's Outreach Campaign 2023, a project I managed, scoped, designed, detailed, and executed. I traveled by road from the north to the south of Pakistan, pitching Minerva in person across four provinces and 35+ schools (5000+ students) in 40 workshops in a team of one. Year/year change in applications was +25%.
* At Harvard, I am the founder of the Women's Education Movement student organization at Harvard GSE and a fellow at the esteemed Harvard to Oval Office Program (a highly selective leadership development program for female leaders) offered at the Harvard Kennedy School. I also manage communications & community for HGSE Innovations & Ventures in Education Club.
* I am pursuing an Ed.M. in Learning, Design, Innovation, and Technology at Harvard Graduate School of Education. I am studying under David Dockterman + Tina Grotzer.
* I am also cross-registered at Harvard Kennedy School, studying the adaptive leadership framework developed by Ron Heifetz, and at MIT Media Lab, where I am studying under Mitch Resnick.
* I graduated from Minerva University, the world's most innovative undergrad with a 1.9% acceptance rate, with a BSc in Cognitive Neuroscience and a BA in Philosophy, Ethics, and Law. I lived in 5 countries, switching each semester, between San Francisco, Seoul, Berlin, Buenos Aires, and London
