What is a Consultation Call?
A Consultation Call is a brief, first-step conversation between the client and the psychologist. It’s designed to help both understand whether they are the right fit for each other before beginning the therapy journey.
During this call:
You share your concerns or the issues you’d like to work on in therapy.
We explore what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it.
I offer a brief overview of how therapy works, what the process looks like, and what you can expect moving forward.
You get a feel for my approach and check whether you feel comfortable, safe, and understood.
We assess fit- whether I’m the right psychologist for your needs and whether you feel ready to begin sessions with me.
Overall, it’s a warm, introductory conversation that helps you clarify your goals, understand the next steps, and decide if you’d like to continue your therapeutic journey with me.
