I’ve been using the Escape Artists Japan travel guide to plan our trip, and it’s honestly been a game changer. Japan can feel overwhelming to plan for — especially figuring out the trains and metro — but this guide made everything so much easier to understand. The tips for booking tickets to USJ and TeamLab were spot on, and the suggestions around the Osaka Amazing Pass helped us save both time and money. You can tell a lot of thought and experience went into creating this guide. It’s made planning our trip not just stress-free, but actually fun!

Seriously, if you are planning a trip to Japan, please get this guide. Before I found it, planning our two-week itinerary felt totally overwhelming—the trains, the language, the sheer number of things to see! This guide was an absolute game-changer. It broke down complex topics, like buying the JR pass and navigating the metro, into super simple steps. But the best part wasn't just the famous spots (which were perfectly covered), it was the curated lists of local, hidden-gem ramen shops and small, traditional inns. It helped us skip the tourist traps and feel like we were really experiencing the authentic side of Japan. It truly felt less like a guidebook and more like having a knowledgeable, friendly local buddy showing you around. Five stars, hands down—a total must-have for a stress-free and unforgettable trip!
