About me

My Slack bio says, "Probably taller than you". Other than that, I've swum in data waters for more than 10 years, mostly in data lakes and streams but sometimes in data swamps as well. I'm currently leading multiple engineering teams within Bolt's Data Platform group, focusing on making Bolt's data usable. We implement Data Mesh architecture, allowing all data consumers and data producers to build seamlessly on top of our offering. Before that, I collected almost all Data Professional titles, from Data Analyst to Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer to Analytics Manager, and lately, Senior Data Engineer to Data Platform Engineering Manager. I still need to figure out now how I missed the Data Scientist role. Outside of working hours, I'm a father, husband, and owner of two dogs. I like to read, write, and try out all kinds of sports.
