About me

Amruta is a psychologist and mental health researcher with over 3+ years of research experience across leading academic institutions, including Harvard University, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), and the University of Mumbai. Her work spans child and adolescent mental health, youth mental health and digital mental health. Her strengths lie in quantitative research designs, data analysis and interpretation, and applied mental health research within academic contexts. She mentors undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students who want to strengthen their psychology research profiles, secure competitive research positions (in India and abroad), and build academically strong CVs. Her guidance focuses on clarity of direction, strategic positioning, and practical navigation of research ecosystems. For Master’s students, Amruta provides structured dissertation guidance- helping them refine research questions, understand methodological considerations, design appropriate studies, analyse complex data, and interpret findings critically, and communicate their work with confidence. Her approach emphasises conceptual depth, methodological precision, and long-term academic growth rather than superficial output. Sessions are best suited for psych students serious about research, higher studies, or careers in psychology academia.
