Years of building software and the childish wonder of technology never seems to leave me. :) I build a scalable backend that uses Java/PostgreSQL/Redis at work, with thousands of users using it even this minute! Apart from work, I've shipped webapps, desktop apps, mobile (ongoing, fingers crossed!) and websites. Passionate about technology, especially when I can see the tangible real-life results it brings. I enjoy working with empowered co-workers and communicate well - strong teamwork is key to shipping excellent software. Some things I've implemented along the way: - Documentation workflow: Issue management, READMEs, guides (yes, even when I work alone!) - Infra: Serverless functions, picking hosting and DNS providers, leaving an AWS instance on and asking them to write it off .-. - Testing approaches: TDD, unit, e2e (mostly Jest and Playwright) - Languages: Static (Java), Dynamic (JS) and kind-of-static (Dart) - DevOps: CI/CD, commit hooks, pipelines (GitHub actions, GitLab CI) - Framework land: Mostly to experience different approaches - React, Svelte, NodeJS, ElectronJS, Ionic, Flutter. - Secure practices: You can't protect against what you don't know.
