Hello, I am Dr. Vidya, currently pursuing an MBA in Healthcare Management at IIM Bodh Gaya. Like many of us in healthcare, I began my journey with clinical practice after graduating. While working in the clinical setting, I gradually became curious about the larger world of healthcare beyond patient care — how healthcare organizations function, how decisions are made, and how management and strategy influence the way healthcare systems operate. That curiosity slowly led me to explore different dimensions of the healthcare ecosystem, which eventually guided my decision to pursue an MBA in Healthcare Management. Today, I’m learning and exploring the intersection of medicine, management, and healthcare innovation. Along the way, I realized that many students and professionals from medical, dental, pharma, and nursing backgrounds often find themselves asking similar questions about their careers, but don’t always have a space where they can openly explore these possibilities.
