About me

Most people don’t struggle because they lack intelligence. They struggle because they’re trying to change their lives using the same thinking that created the problem. I’ve seen this pattern repeat itself for decades – first in boardrooms and control rooms, and later in quiet one-on-one conversations. Hi! I am Dr. Sunil Chhaya & for 31 years, I worked with Air India, eventually retiring as General Manager (Infrastructure). It was a life of responsibility, deadlines, systems, and decisions where mistakes had real consequences. In that world, clarity wasn’t optional, it was survival. And yet, something always stood out. Even highly capable people – engineers, managers, professionals, often knew what needed to be done…and still didn’t do it. Not because they were careless or lazy, but because something invisible kept getting in the way. That question stayed with me: Why does awareness not always lead to action? My search for that answer took me inward – into understanding how habits are formed, how beliefs get conditioned, and how the subconscious quietly runs our choices. That journey led me to structured mindset work and global frameworks such as Thinking Into Results (Bob Proctor), UltraMind ESP (Jose Silva), and practical applications of the Law of Attraction – not as theory, but as tools. I work with individuals who appear functional on the outside but feel conflicted within: students under pressure, professionals who overthink, people who feel stuck despite knowing better. Through structured conversations, customised mental practices, and clarity-driven work, the inner noise begins to settle. Decisions become calmer. Action feels less forced. One of the most humbling moments of my journey was supporting someone who had reached a personal breaking point during the pandemic. What followed wasn’t overnight change, but steady clarity, regained direction, and the courage to rebuild life step by step. That experience reaffirmed something I deeply believe: Change doesn’t arrive through force. It arrives through understanding. This work isn’t about motivation, fixing, or becoming someone new. It’s about returning to clarity, and learning how to think, decide, and respond consciously. If you’re someone who feels capable yet internally unsettled, this isn’t a personal failure. It’s often a sign that your mind was never taught how to settle – only how to cope. And that can be learned. If you’d like to begin, start with a 30-minute Discovery Call.

Frequently asked questions

What is mind transformation?

Mind transformation is the process of changing the deeper thinking that drives your decisions, habits, and reactions — rather than only changing surface behaviour. It works on conditioned beliefs and subconscious patterns, so that clarity and consistent action begin to feel natural instead of forced. This is why two people with the same knowledge and intelligence can get completely different results: the difference usually sits in the mind, not the effort.

What does a mindset transformation coach do?

A mindset transformation coach helps you uncover the conditioned beliefs and mental patterns that keep producing the same results, and then guides you through structured practices to recondition them. Instead of only giving advice or motivation, the work happens at the root level — self-image, paradigms, and habitual thinking — so that goals stop feeling forced. Most coaches combine guided reflection, mental exercises, goal-setting frameworks, and repeatable daily techniques.

Is mindset transformation therapy the same as psychotherapy?

No. Despite the name, mindset transformation therapy generally refers to structured mindset coaching — reconditioning beliefs, habits, and thought patterns so a person can think, decide, and act more clearly. Psychotherapy is a clinical treatment for mental health conditions delivered by licensed professionals. The two can complement each other, but mindset coaching is not a replacement for medical or psychiatric care, and anyone dealing with a clinical condition should seek qualified professional help.

What is subconscious programming?

Subconscious programming is the conditioning your mind absorbs through repetition — upbringing, environment, experiences, and the ideas you were exposed to repeatedly — which then runs automatically in the background. It shapes your self-image, habits, emotional reactions, and even how much success or money you believe you can have. Because it operates below conscious awareness, you can fully understand a problem intellectually and still keep repeating the same pattern.

How to reprogram the subconscious mind?

The core principle is consistent repetition of new patterns until they replace the old ones. Effective subconscious reprogramming techniques include affirmations, guided meditation, visualization, journaling, and structured mindset programs — practised daily, ideally just after waking and just before sleeping, when the subconscious is most receptive. Small daily repetition works far better than occasional intense effort.

Can you reprogram the subconscious mind while sleeping?

Yes, to a meaningful extent. The period just before sleep and during light sleep is when the subconscious mind is most suggestible, because the critical, filtering conscious mind has relaxed. Listening to affirmations or guided audio as you drift off, and reviewing your goals in the last few minutes before bed, allows new ideas to sink in overnight. It works best as a support to daytime practice, not as a replacement for it.

Does subconscious reprogramming work?

Yes — when it is done consistently and with genuine feeling. Beliefs were built through years of repetition, so they change through repetition too. People who practise daily through affirmations, meditation, and visualization usually notice calmer decisions and less inner resistance within weeks, while deeper belief change takes a few months. It fails mainly when done occasionally, done mechanically without emotion, or abandoned just before results appear.

How do I practice subconscious reprogramming meditation?

Sit quietly for 10–20 minutes and slow your breathing until the mind settles into a calm, relaxed state — this is when the subconscious becomes receptive. Then deliberately introduce the new belief: repeat affirmations slowly, visualize a goal as already achieved, or listen to guided audio. Practise at the same time daily, preferably early morning or at night, and end the session by choosing one small action that reflects the new belief.

How long do subconscious reprogramming affirmations take to work?

For most people, it takes a few weeks of consistent daily repetition before affirmations start feeling believable rather than forced — and a few months for them to fully replace a deep-rooted old belief. Speed depends on three things: how vivid and emotional you are while repeating them, how often you repeat them (especially after waking and before sleeping), and whether your daily actions support what you are affirming. Affirmations repeated mechanically, without feeling, barely make an impact.

What is the meaning of limiting beliefs?

The meaning of limiting beliefs is straightforward: they are assumptions you hold about yourself, others, or the world that quietly cap what you attempt — "I'm not good enough," "people like me don't succeed," "it's too late for me." They are also called self limiting beliefs because the restriction usually comes from within, not from a real lack of ability or opportunity. Since they operate subconsciously, people often mistake them for facts and never question them.

What are some examples of limiting beliefs?

Common examples of limiting beliefs include "I'm not smart enough," "I'm too old to start over," "I need more qualifications before I try," "money only comes through hard struggle," and "I don't deserve success." Notice the pattern — each one sounds like a reasonable, factual observation, but it is actually a conclusion formed from past conditioning. That is exactly why they go unchallenged for years while quietly shaping your career, income, and confidence.

How to identify limiting beliefs?

Look for the gap between what you know and what you actually do. Write down the areas where you repeatedly procrastinate or self-sabotage despite knowing better, and complete sentences like "I could never…" or "People like me can't…" — whatever feels uncomfortable to write is usually a belief, not a fact. Recurring self-talk such as "I always mess this up" is another strong marker, especially when the same theme shows up across different situations.

How to overcome limiting beliefs?

Start with awareness: catch the belief, write it down, and question where it came from and whether it is still true today. Then deliberately install a replacement belief through repetition — affirmations, visualization, and small actions that give your mind real evidence for the new belief. The action step matters most, because a belief is overwritten by experience plus repetition, not by a single burst of motivation.

What are the most common limiting beliefs about money?

The most common limiting beliefs about money are: "money is the root of all problems," "rich people are greedy or dishonest," "you have to work extremely hard for every rupee," and "people from our kind of background can't be wealthy." These beliefs influence how much you earn far more than your skills do, because the subconscious quietly avoids anything that contradicts them — which is why people self-sabotage raises, negotiations, or opportunities without realising why.

What is the meaning of limiting beliefs in Hindi?

The meaning of limiting beliefs in Hindi is usually expressed as "सीमित मान्यताएँ" — सोच की वे सीमाएँ जो हमें अपनी असली क्षमता से कम प्रयास करने पर मजबूर करती हैं। In everyday language, people also describe them as "मन की रूकावटें" (mental blocks) — fixed thoughts like "मैं यह कर ही नहीं सकता" that stop a person from acting on what they are fully capable of.
