I began as a physician, then investigated outbreaks in India (FETP-India alumnus here), and now I spend my days in Wales exploring healthcare-associated infections and research — basically, trying to turn routine surveillance data into something meaningful. I founded Think Denominator to highlight the power of denominators in analysis (yes, they really do matter!) and to promote open-access tools in public health. Along the way, I teach R (not too often) and build R packages to simplify workflows and enhance user experience.
