I’m an Information Technology Leader and Senior Program Manager at Meta Platforms Inc., where I lead strategic integrity operations within Meta’s advertising business. My work ensures the safety and trustworthiness of interactions and transactions across Meta family of apps including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger. My expertise is in Program & Project Management, Internet Trust and Safety and, Cybersecurity. With a PhD in Information Technology from the University of the Cumberlands, 10+ years of experience, and a background that spans education, public relations, and the public sector, I bring a systems-thinking mindset to every project I lead. I’m PMP, CSM, and ITIL certified, and passionate about building safe, scalable solutions that serve real people. I began my career as a teacher and public relations consultant, and those roots still guide me - I believe in the power of clarity, empathy through storytelling, and systems that serve people well. My research interests are in the application of AI to IT fields such as Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Data Governance and Information Systems. My academic work equips small and medium businesses to make informed, policy-aligned security decisions. Outside of work, I’m passionate about entrepreneurship, wellness, and immigration advocacy. I'm the founder of the Hopeful Collective, a community-centered non profit guiding immigrants in navigating visa transitions. I share lessons from career pivots, reflections on working in tech as an immigrant woman, and practical strategies for building a career with purpose.
