I am an academician with teaching and research interests in the area of Marketing. Before moving to academics, I was into corporates, and my experience spanned across three industries - IT/ITes, Automobiles and Shipping industry. During these stints I have worked in various capacities like Product Manager, Onsite Coordinator, Sales Manager, and Marcom Manager. I have also worked in the Development sector where I was an Independent Consultant. Currently, I am the HOD of the Marketing Department at Atlas Skilltech University in Mumbai. During my academic stint, I have realized that a lot of students seek mentorship to be able to make career decisions which are often life-changing. With this thought in mind, I started mentoring students outside my circle through mentorship platforms like topmate. This initiative is to help students who are doing their MBA or planning to do that MBA and are inclined to build their career in Marketing. This is a pro-bono initiative and I do not charge anything for the meeting. I also do not promote any product or service. This is purely a free mentorship platform to help students.
