Resident of the serene forest town of Jhargram, West Bengal, Eastern India, I am a dedicated healthcare professional and researcher with a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) from MHMCH, a Government Homeopathic medical college in Midnapore, West Bengal. My journey into research began during my BHMS program when I participated in the prestigious Short Term Studentship in Homeopathy (STSH) program under the aegis of the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy (CCRH), focusing on the exploration of constitutional homeopathic treatment for pre-hyperglycaemic conditions. Driven by a passion for advancing medical knowledge, I furthered my academic pursuits by enrolling in the M.Sc. Biomedical Sciences program at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. My dissertation, titled “Association of SNCA with prediabetes and type 2 diabetes: a Cross-Sectional study,” showcased my interdisciplinary approach, blending medical expertise with practical wet lab techniques. Recipient of a Gold Medal for academic excellence, I am currently engaged as a Project Assistant in an ICMR funded project at the Dept. of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Vision Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. My ongoing endeavors include writing review papers and a research article based on my dissertation findings.
