I am Dr. Shahid Amin, hailing from the picturesque Tral Village in the paradise valley of Kashmir. Currently, I am pursuing an Advanced Business Consulting Course with the All India Management Association (AIMA). My journey at ITM University as a faculty member was incredible, offering me numerous opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to the academic community. In recognition of my efforts, I was honored with the Best Teacher Award at ITM University in 2022. Over the years, I served in various roles, including as Associate Professor at the School of Management. I coordinated national and international events at the university, and in 2023, I had the privilege of serving as the organizing secretary for the 4th International Conference on Transforming Business Practices. Additionally, I served as the nodal officer for students from Jammu and Kashmir at ITM University, selected under the Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme. In this role, I became a vital point of contact for both current students and alumni in the School of Management. As an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA), I completed the Faculty Development Programme in 2023, significantly enhancing my teaching and research capabilities. My academic interests include marketing, service marketing, entrepreneurship, self-service technologies, e-commerce, green buildings, digital marketing strategies, and work-life balance. I have guided several PhD students to successful completions and published research papers in refereed journals. In addition to my academic work, I have authored books and served as a regular columnist for various newspapers such as Greater Kashmir, Daily Excelsior, Rising Kashmir, State Times, and Kashmir Horizon. My writings focus on themes of positivity, education, and societal issues. I am deeply committed to fostering innovation and excellence in education. My journey from the serene valleys of Kashmir to the vibrant academic landscape of Gwalior has been driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact through education.
