About me
I am Dr. Neelam, a scientist and strategist with a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology and over 6 years of experience at the nexus of environmental biotechnology, climate resilience, and sustainable innovation.
From decoding gene expression in virus-infected plants to building India's first artificial mycorrhizal network prototype, I specialize in translating complex biology into scalable, climate-positive solutions. My journey bridges lab research, public policy, and frontier technologies—from biosensors to quantum computing—for ecosystem monitoring and green transformation.
🔬 What I bring to the table:
Expertise in VIGS, mycorrhizal networks, microbial signaling, and agrivoltaics
Advanced field-ready R&D with a strong compliance and quality framework
Proven impact in grant writing (SBIR, BIRAC, CSIR), stakeholder engagement, and policy advocacy
Cross-sector collaboration with scientists, startups, and international policy groups
Currently, I’m expanding my portfolio in floatovoltaics and solar-integrated farming to design sustainable water-energy-food systems.
💡 My mission?
To accelerate nature-based solutions and biotechnological innovations that regenerate ecosystems, empower communities, and mitigate climate risks.
Whether it's advising on sustainable agriculture, reviewing environmental strategy, or co-developing pilot projects—I’m open to consulting roles, collaborations, and public-private partnerships that share this mission.
📩 Let’s connect if you're looking for a scientist who can decode biology, navigate policy, and drive climate action.
