About me

As a biotechnologist with 10+ years of experience and 4 successful projects, this is the world I want to create. 👇 Imagine crops that thrive in tough conditions, resist pests and diseases, and yield more food and energy for people. I help create 10x fast and innovative crop solutions for agribiotech companies using genetic engineering, and fermentation technology. As a doctoral researcher, I was fascinated by the molecular mechanisms of plant-virus interactions. I continually ponder on: • How can we increase crop yields? • How to reduce the usage of pesticides and herbicides to make crops tolerant to extremes? Collaborating with other labs, I published two research papers in international journals from my PhD research. My passion for innovative crop solutions led me to the industry, where I assisted in four projects that focused on creating value-added crops and microbes. To achieve our project goals, I used plant tissue culture, genetic engineering, molecular biology, bioinformatics, fermentation technology, and microbial strain engineering. Some of my notable achievements include: • Completing four biotech projects (8-80L) with various techniques • Leading a 47.78L BIRAC-BIG project and increasing oil production by 20% in 50% time • Receiving a 7.98L DBT-JRF grant for plant-virus research • Developing clone and screening of transgenic line I am also skilled in content development and auditing for product marketing. I created clear and accurate content for 36 seeds in English and Hindi, working with the digital marketing team and staying updated on industry trends. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies to advance my career and contribute to the biotechnology field. I completed online courses on NGS, CRISPR, gDNA, and immuno in 2023 and trained in qPCR in 2013.
