Dr. Kavita Vasudev is an Academician turned ‘Entrepreneur’ and a Life Coach. Her profession started with her joining University of Delhi, India and now that she has been in the field of education for the past 15 years, she decided to take the next step and start her venture, her dream project. She is the Founder-Director of Avabodha – The Learning Manch, an institute that focuses on teacher trainings, counselling, advocacy and planning of courses for people in the field of psychology, human development, disability studies, education and the like.
She is an alumnus of Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi, M. S. University of Baroda, Vadodara and Central Institute of Education, University of Delhi. Dr. Vasudev has her Master’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and Doctorate in Education. In addition to the above, she has many PG diplomas, Diplomas and Certifications to her credit (about 30).
Dr. Kavita is an avid reader. The booklover spirit comes from her father whom she has observed throughout her life being engrossed in books and newspapers of all kinds. She used to wonder what happens when you read so much. The question found its answer as she grew and found herself in her father’s footsteps. Her love for reading eventually gave rise to the love for writing. She has many books and research papers to her credit. She is also the author of two Children’s story books available on amazon by the pen name of ‘Puffy Panda’ and many more to be added in the near future.
Being a Human Development specialist, she is passionate about reaching out to as many parents, educators and children as she possibly can to be able to make their lives positive and meaningful. She is a certified therapeutic life coach, art therapist, play therapist, storyteller, handwriting analyst and a counsellor. She has her course on Udemy for those who are interested in Art Therapy. Currently, she is working on understanding the importance and role of happiness in the lives of people.
Dr. Vasudev is a mother to an 11 year old beautiful daughter, who keeps her on her toes. She loves spending time with her daughter and indulge in conversations about anything under the sun. This is the kind of relationship that Dr. Vasudev envisions for each parent and their child(ren). This would make the world a better place.
