About me
Dr. Mishra is a Academician, researcher, and a development professional with a background in Biological Anthropology. He has completed his MSc, M. Phil and PhD from Sambalpur University (NAAC -A Grade), Odisha, India with Physical Anthropology as a specialization. Within his professional career of 20 more years, he has worked in various capacities such as Academician, Researcher, Co-coordinator and a Trainer. Started with his career as a research associate, he has almost completed more than 40 research projects during this tenure covering monitoring and evaluation of many National Health Programs in India.
Dr. Mishra was also part of Danida supported SDHS project, large-scale household surveys like RCH, NFHS-3, 4, 5, IPD (CP-5 & CP-6 program), Behavior Change Communication (BCC) studies etc. and assisted technically the Rajasthan State Aids Control Society to provide strategic direction as a Technical Support Unit. His major area of interest includes Strategic Management, Program Design & Management, Monitoring & Evaluation and Advocacy. At HUP Chhattisgarh, he was primarily responsible for analyzing the data and facilitating the monitoring & supervision of the program. Broadly, his responsibilities includes formulating user friendly rationale database for compiling and analyzing the information, training the stakeholders on the use of database packages, designing monitoring templates on performance indicators and providing technical support in improving and maintaining the quality standards of data. Besides this, he has achieved Significant experience in conducting scientifically Qualitative and Quantitative research. Prior to join the HUP program, he was worked as a Senior Research Officer with IIHMR, Jaipur.
