I am a researcher specialising in Global Health, Development and Gender. I am a recipient of the prestigious Global Talent Visa by the UK Government in the field of Global Health and Development. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Health and Social Care, University of Essex, UK, where I am working on a project to disrupt the cycle of poor mental health outcomes and gendered violence among migrants across four countries: India, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Myanmar. I hold a PhD from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex. My areas of expertise are global health, gender, men and masculinities, maternal and reproductive health, nutrition and international development. I have worked and consulted for different organizations such as Tetra Tech International, Duke NUS Medical School, BBC Media Action, UNICEF India, World Bank, SRIJAN India, Institute of Development Studies, Teach For India, and other organizations. My skills of expertise are: qualitative research and analysis, policy review and analysis, literature reviews, survey design and management, and writing. I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (Intermediate), Datawrapper, Rapid Pro (survey design), and NVIVO, MAXQDA, Dedoose (qualitative data analysis).
