About me

From the vibrant cultures of India to Europe’s centers of innovation, my academic and professional path has been full of diverse and meaningful experiences. As an Erasmus Scholar, I studied in Italy and France, completing my Master's through the Erasmus Mundus BioHealth Computing program in 2016. My PhD in Immunology, funded by an H2020 fellowship, was completed in 2020, culminating in several publications in high-impact journals. Transitioning from academia to industry, I assumed a role as an industrial postdoc in Germany, working on Merck-funded projects that blended scientific depth with real-world applications. My expertise spans various fields, including toxicology, immunometabolism, nanoparticles, drug discovery, drug delivery, drug safety, biomarker identification, and RNA targeting. Life in Germany and my connections within the Heidelberg Startup Ecosystem also inspired my entrepreneurial spirit, leading to the founding of my first company, STEMAZE. Our mission is to simplify how scientists—including students, postdocs, and professionals across various disciplines—connect and collaborate, free from the usual formalities of networking. Our mobile application, pinQin, and in-person event, "PinQin & Peers," are designed to facilitate these interactions organically. In addition to my entrepreneurial and scientific endeavors, I have led the EuroStemPeers conference for the past two years, helping to build networks and support PhD students. My goal is to empower the next generation of scientists by sharing knowledge, offering mentorship, and creating tools that enhance collaboration within the scientific community.
