1. Learn how to make the best use of PYQs
2. Understand how to read the newspaper from a UPSC perspective
3. Overcome mental hurdles, like low confidence, lack of discipline etc
4. Have someone to hold you accountable
5. Sometimes, you might just need a pep talk
