About me
I am a Senior Energy Systems Researcher at the UCD Energy Institute, University College Dublin, specializing in AI-driven building energy modelling, digital twins, and sustainable building performance. My PhD research focused on balancing energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality (IEQ), and occupant well-being in residential buildings, leveraging probabilistic approaches to enhance energy-use predictions.
At the intersection of AI, energy efficiency, and climate resilience, I develop scalable digital frameworks for urban-scale building stock analysis, performance optimisation, and decarbonisation strategies. My work aims to accelerate the transition to low-carbon, climate-resilient buildings by integrating machine learning, knowledge graphs, and digital twins for predictive energy modelling.
