I am a healthcare professional who wants to challenge the status quo to create an impact. I wish to help humanity by improving the reach of better and affordable healthcare. Acting on this vision, I served more than 10,000 lives in a few years of clinical practice. While working as a clinician, I learned about the gaps in the existing healthcare delivery systems. There was an enormous scope to improve services in a cost-effective and sustainable fashion. I thought of some plans around it, but implementation was the real challenge. I soon realized I would need multiple additional skills to plan the strategies effectively and scalably. Upon realization, I found that the faster way to learn strategic planning and management was to study business administration. I decided to learn more about business management, and I started working towards joining an MBA. Eventually, this decision led me to join IIM Indore for their flagship two-year full-time PGP program. IIM Indore taught me about various business situations and their management across various domain and industries, which enhanced my cross industry learning and helped me in developing a much better understanding of how businesses work globally! During my IIMI tenure, I was chosen for the International program in Management(IPM) at ICN Business School, France. ICN helped me develop a rich experience of working in multinational environments and learning their best practices. During this program, I met, interacted, and worked with people from more than 30 nationalities. My MBA concluded in mid-2020 with a major in the strategy, which helped me grow as an informed healthcare management professional and one step closer to my vision. Around that time, I joined HCL Tech's Life Sciences and Healthcare Practice and contributed from functional capabilities in the healthcare IT solutions. After an interesting year and a half, when I gained an understanding of the healthcare IT environment, I switched to Deloitte Consulting to contribute to the healthcare and life sciences strategy practice. Over these years, I have learned about management, IT, strategy, and people management. I hope these all will help me achieve my vision someday!
