Hi, I’m Dishi 👋 I’m a Senior Product Manager at Amazon Luxembourg, building AI products that impact millions of global sellers worldwide. But my path here was anything but straightforward. I began in Biotech at IIT Guwahati, with research stints at IISER Bhopal and NUS Singapore. Those experiences made me realise that research wasn’t my calling — I wanted to solve problems closer to business and technology. That led me into analytics at EXL and strategy at American Express, where I grew quickly but also recognised the need for formal business education. Pursuing my MBA at HEC Paris, with an exchange at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, was transformative. It gave me the confidence to embrace challenges outside my comfort zone — from specialising in finance despite my non-finance background, to interning at Amazon within my first month on campus. My post-MBA path took me into fintech at Revolut, before I transitioned into big tech at Amazon. At every career pivot, I often wished I had someone to talk to who had walked a similar path — someone who could guide me through the doubts, rejections, and tough choices. That’s why I now share my journey openly, so others navigating their own crossroads can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
