- I am a Graduate from Brock University, achieved my Bachelors degree in Public Health. I have a profound interest in coordinating research initiatives geared toward promoting and enhancing public health. - My career goal is to pursue an occupation in the field of Health Promotion, Health Education, and Research. - I have experience conducting research projects through the input, analysis, and manipulation of data and biostatistics derived from databases such as the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) by utilizing software such as SAS 9.4. I have also used IBM SPSS 26 for project purposes. - I have gained experience in essential skills such as communication, leadership, and teamwork with my experience as a student mentor and my avid participation in clubs, societies, and volunteering. - I Have also gained knowledge about Qualitative Research in Health Sciences and have experienced conducting qualitative interviews and doing analysis. - I have also gained Koru Mindfulness Certificate as part of Mental Health Training. - I have also got trained for Naloxone training and Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) I have participated in experiential learning activities and workshops such as the KAIROS blanket exercise and developed an enriched understanding regarding Indigenous issues and health in Canadian society. I have gained deep knowledge in Canadian Health Policies and analysis of past or future policies. I have also worked with many community partners as a part of internship and have gained hands on approach to health promotion and making reliable content for spreading awareness.
