Current gig: I am a Product Lead at Walmart, leading enterprise productivity product portfolio that empowers 2.2 million associates globally for the Fortune #1 Background: I have completed my Bachelor's in Computer Science from IIEST Shibpur, and Master's in Management Information Systems from University at Buffalo. I started my career with Microsoft, where I built products for enterprise customers and led the successful execution of complex Digital Transformation projects with Microsoft technologies, via Intelligent Cloud, Intelligent Edge, and Modern workplace. My role at Microsoft got me hooked into product management and I decided to make product management as my career. I was always fascinated with the idea of solving user pain-points to make their lives better, and wanted to get involved from product inception stage, and touch all the phases of the product lifecycle. During my Master's, I interned with SiriusXM Pandora as a PM where I got the opportunity to drive the end-to-end product-launch of a feature that would directly contribute to mobile app growth and user retention. Since graduating from my Master's, I've worked with Expedia, T-Mobile, and currently at Walmart; where I got the opportunity to lead 0-1 products, and also products at scale, that would contribute directly to the company economics. Besides my day job, I'm an outdoorsy person who is always on the lookout for unique vacation spots or scenic roadtrips. I imagine my retirement life as a food-truck owner preparing some of the world's best culinary items as I drive through the mountains!
