I had the opportunity to interact with Dimple Mam recently and it was an incredibly insightful conversation on FP&A and corporate finance.
She explained how FP&A goes far beyond budgeting and reporting and actually plays a key role in business decision-making and stakeholder partnering.
I particularly appreciated how she openly shared guidance for someone early in their career, from the importance of understanding business drivers and variance analysis to building strong communication and presentation skills alongside technical knowledge.
Grateful for the time and guidance, and I hope many young finance professionals get the chance to learn from her.
