Hello! I am Dilip, a Data enthusiast who loves to play with large-scale and dirty data. I am also a good husband (trying to be a better ;) of a lovely wife, and a proud father of a mischievous daughter. I started my career as ETL developer with Accenture and then had opportunities to work on different roles to design and develop scalable, user-friendly data systems and analyze the data using SQL. My area of expertise is ETL development, data warehousing and data modeling. This year, I was approached by an Amazon and Google Recruiters through LinkedIn for a job opportunity. I cracked the first round of interviews with flying colors in both companies, however, the 5-6 rounds of onsite interviews were not easy. I had to face a lot of hurdles during my transition from a service based to a product-based company. I wish, I had someone to mentor me and guide me throughout the process, which could have saved my transition time. I was alone in my journey, but it doesn’t mean you too have to.
