Hey, I'm Zaid. I'm a Computer Vision Engineer who enjoys building things that actually work outside a notebook. Most of my work has been around solving practical problems using computer vision - whether that's industrial inspection, video analytics, OCR, or deploying models on edge devices. I've spent the last couple of years building end-to-end solutions, from collecting and preparing datasets to training models, optimizing inference, and deploying them in production. Along the way, I've learned that building a good computer vision system is usually about understanding the problem first, not just choosing the latest model. I started Topmate because I enjoy discussing computer vision with people.
