At just 25 years old, Dhruv Jatti represents the new generation of leadership emerging in Indian politics. Belonging to the distinguished Jatti political family, he is the great-grandson of Shri B. D. Jatti, former Vice President of India. Hailing from the village of Savalagi in Jamkhandi Taluka, Dhruv combines grassroots connection with global vision. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Affairs from the Jindal School of International Affairs and has developed deep expertise in foreign policy and international politics. During the COVID-19 crisis, Dhruv’s initiatives were recognized across India for their impact and commitment to public service. He began his political journey at the grassroots level of the Indian National Congress, serving as General Secretary of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), Karnataka, before rising to his current role as Spokesperson for the Congress Party in Karnataka. In addition to his political responsibilities, Dhruv is the Founder of the Jatti Foundation and the Indian Student Community, which actively works on rural development initiatives in Bagalkot district, particularly focusing on uplifting communities and empowering youth.
