Hello, my name is Budh Ram Gurung, and currently helping IT Students to grow in their Tech Careers. Prior to teaching, I had worked as a software engineer for around 8 years but left to pursue my passion for teaching in early 2019. During my working tenure, I had worked from startup to MNC in diverse roles like Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Engineer, Sr Software Engineer, Team Lead, and CTO. I teach programming languages like Ruby, JavaScript, Python, and Go and Web technologies include HTML, CSS, JS Frameworks and CSS Frameworks, etc. Recently, I have started to also teach Docker. One incident that helped boost my teaching career was when I was going through my few months of entrepreneurial journey in a startup, I found that the interns I hired had difficulty in building a client web page even after a week of training. This made me think a lot about the "Industry-Academic" gap which has been a quite serious issue in today's time. Apart from teaching, I love to work on my own Open Source projects and currently working on "Project Vidyalaya" whose aim is to provide a collection of Open Source solutions related to education.
