Deepak Yadav is a seasoned Manager in Data Engineering, Analytics & MLOps with over 17 years of experience across Investment Banks, Financial Services, Retail, and Marketing domains. Proficient in AWS, MLOps, Redshift, Teradata, Hadoop, Snowflake, Vertica, and SQL Server Databases, he holds comprehensive knowledge in leading Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and Data Governance units. Deepak is a seasoned professional in Strategy Management, Application Development, and Data Management, having successfully set up scalable and low-latency systems.
His expertise spans Lakehouse, Datalake, and Data Warehouse design and implementation, covering Redshift, DB2, DB2 BLU, DB2 DPF (Data Partitioning Feature), Sybase, NoSQL MongoDB, Python, and various Data reporting and BI tools such as Looker, Quick Sight, and Tableau. Deepak has a proven track record of working with multi-cultural teams and stakeholders globally, adopting Agile and DevOps practices, and implementing projects following microservices architecture.
Currently serving as the Manager, Data Engineering, Analytics & MLOps at Amazon US in Seattle, Deepak leads Engineering and Analytics units for the Fintech Accounting Intelligence Services. His role involves heading Data Engineering and Business Intelligence for Fintech Automation Services, strategizing Finance Data Warehouse, and driving AI/ML algorithms implementation for various use cases.
Prior to Amazon, Deepak worked at Ask Media Group as a Principal Engineer – Big Data Architect/Solution Architect, where he played a crucial role in setting up and running Data Engineering and Reporting data platforms for the company. He also served as an Engineering Manager – Big Data Architect/Solution Architect at Amdocs, contributing to the setup and running of Data Engineering and Reporting data platforms for the online recommendation engine for AT&T.
Deepak holds certifications as a Teradata Certified Master and Vertica Advance Analytics Certified. He completed his B.Tech. in Electronics & Comm. Engineering from Samrat Ashok Technology Institute, Vidisha, M.P. Fluent in English and Hindi, Deepak currently resides in Seattle.
