• 18+ years of total IT experience with 6+ years as an engineering leader with product development teams. • 12 years of industry experience in developing Java, web-based and IPTV solutions. • Certified Scrum Master. • Core competence in Java / J2EE technologies. • Own the end-to-end responsibility for delivering a major part of the product. • Manage the day-to-day process and activities, translate and clarify high-level requirements to user stories and tasks, remove roadblocks. • Work with engineers and architects to define and develop the right architecture and user experience for the product. • Current product engineering activities include major releases, minor releases, defect fixes and patches. • Lead and manage team of highly skilled and senior engineers • Provides direct and ongoing leadership for an organization of individual contributors. • Track record of managing multiple teams and products in parallel. • Product development and execution in an agile environment. • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement the same. • Fosters a culture of high performance and innovation within the organization. • Passionate about the customer experience. • Adept at identifying potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact, ensuring a smooth development process. • Strong results orientation: able to think strategically and act tactically to deliver results. • Engages with program managers, customer assist teams, technical leaders and executives • Strong communicator with good interpersonal relationship and communication skills, verbal and written (peers, executives, cross culture).
