I am a seasoned Staff Software Engineer with over 10 years of hands-on experience in software development, specializing in Azure and data/cloud domains. Currently employed at LinkedIn, my primary focus revolves around enhancing the on-premise data infrastructure through Ambry, LinkedIn's massively scalable, durable, and geo-distributed object store. In my tenure, I've spearheaded initiatives aimed at boosting efficiency and scalability within the enterprise data platform. One notable project involved driving cost optimization for LinkedIn Enterprise on Azure and on-premise, resulting in significant savings in COGS costs in the order of $xM. This achievement is detailed in a LinkedIn blog titled "CostWiz: Saving Cost for LinkedIn Enterprise on Azure." Additionally, I led the creation of a Data Lakehouse for LinkedIn Enterprise, prioritizing shared governance principles, confidentiality of datasets, Encryption at Rest, and multi-tenancy with BYOK scenarios. My contributions extend beyond LinkedIn, evidenced by a patent granted by the USPTO for a network traffic analytics solution implemented in Cisco ToR switches, showcasing my ability to innovate and solve complex problems.
