However, the recession of 2008-2009 hit hard, wiping out half of my investments. I sold off my stocks at a heavy loss, a decision I later learned was a missed opportunity. That period taught me that market downturns could actually be the best times to invest more and hold onto quality assets. Determined to protect myself from market volatility, I ventured into options trading, discovering the power of a diversified income strategy. I divided my investments into three pillars: long-term investments, short-term options, and intra-day trading. Throughout my progressive 16-year career from Engineer to Tech Executive Director in Fortune 500 companies, I steadily built an income stream from stocks and options that eventually surpassed my corporate salary. With disciplined investing and options strategies, I reached a financial milestone which allows me to spend less than 2 hours every day in trading and growing wealth.
