About me
I completed my Ph. D. from IIT Guwahati. During my Ph.D., I have investigated interpretability aspects in Deep Learning Models for Cardiac Abnormality Detection from ECG Signals. I have presented my research in CinC 2021 (Brno, Czech Republic), CinC 2020 (Rimini, Italy), IJCNN 2020 (Glasgow, UK), IJCNN 2022 (Padua, Italy), TENCON 2021 (Auckland, New Zealand), TENCON 2019 (Kerala, India), PReMI 2021 (Kolkata, India) and many more. I am enthusiastic about applying recent advancements in machine learning to various real-life and biological problems.
I completed my M.Tech. from IIT Guwahati, during which I performed seismic signal enhancement through stochastic resonance to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of signals. I also developed a few minor projects such as Crawler Based Search Engine For College Intranet, Digit Recognition and Translation Using Speech Signals, Object Detection in Images.
I received MHRD Scholarship to pursue M.Tech. and Ph.D. at IIT Guwahati (2015-2020). I also received PAN-IIT ONGC Scholarship (Top-Up Fellowship) during my Ph.D. (2017-2022). I have been a recipient of the IEEE-CIS Travel Grant for attending IEEE IJCNN 2022 in Padua, Italy. I also received Registration waiver to attend Online Asian ML School and Asian Conference on ML 2021.
During my stay at IITG, I was the Student Coordinator for Training and Placement Cell (2019-2020), Finance Head in Research Conclave 2019, Treasurer in Students' Academic Board (2018-2019), and Core Team Member of Technical Board in Research Conclave 2018.
I have also been selected to attend Google Research Graduate Symposium 2021, Microsoft Research India-ACM Summer School 2019 at IIITB, IBM-Research Day at IIM Bangalore, Won Second Prize in Oral Presentation at Research Conclave 2019 at IIT Guwahati.
