My journey has been full of exploration across several career avenues before finding my true passion in research. Having prepared and appeared for numerous exams, including AIEEE, IIT-JEE, GATE, IES, UPSC, State Services exams, CDS, SSBs of Defence Services, GRE, and TOEFL, I have acquired a comprehensive understanding of the nuances and challenges inherent in different career paths. From obtaining a bachelor's degree from a private college to pursuing a master's at IIT Jodhpur and a doctorate from Purdue University, USA and IIT Delhi, I not only mastered a remarkable ability to ascend from low beginnings to great heights, but also understood the critical pros and cons of each of these places for studying. Upon deciding to pursue research as my career, I secured a reputed job in TCS research before joining my Ph.D. at IIT Delhi as PMRF (acceptance rate ~2%) and then secured SERB-OVDF (acceptance rate ~1%) to continue my PhD research at Purdue. From starting as a traditional mechanical engineer, I am now a researcher in robotics and AI. Additionally, I am honored to receive the highly prestigious Malone fellowship for my post-doctorate at Johns Hopkins University.
