A passionate Engineer in Training (EIT) with a Master in Civil Engineering (MEng) degree at the University of Calgary, focusing on Project Management and Transportation Infrastructure. I have more than four years of relevant experience in the construction industry with a strong interest in Project Controls and in utilizing Technology in the field of Construction and Infrastructure. This has motivated me to successfully pass the 'Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)' certification offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). “Develop a passion for Learning. The urge to obtain better skills and knowledge in the field of civil engineering has ignited me to pursue my Master in Civil Engineering degree with focus in Construction and Project management. I was always interested in observing various civil engineering structures and at the same time was curious about the techniques used in the construction of it. I got an opportunity to work at Larsen and Toubro Construction right after my Bachelor's degree and I worked for 2 years in this organization. During this period, I worked on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor Project of Indian Railways in Gujarat. On site job experience really helped me to apply my theoretical knowledge into practical field. I am currently focused in implementing project management in the construction field which could help me in becoming a capable leader. My aim is to master the way of planning and executing the projects within stipulated time and enhancing profitability using the tools and techniques of Project Controls. Being a Technology enthusiast, my interest also lies in the efficient utilization of Technology in this field to simplify and optimize the traditional methods and obtain superior results. Apart from my professional background, I like to connect with people and share common interests with them. Also, I am a soccer fan and follow the soccer league matches in my free time.
