I come from a background where business was always around me but understanding how to build and scale it came much later, through experience. I was among the top performers in school and went on to clear Chartered Accountancy in my first attempt. During my articleship and professional journey, I worked with firms like BDO, Grant Thornton, Deloitte, and RSM across audit and consulting, where I gained structured exposure to how businesses operate on paper. But the real learning started when I moved back to work on my family business. I’ve worked hands-on across multiple sectors petrol pumps, hospitality (resort), warehousing, and transport. From structuring financials to building processes, managing teams, and solving day-to-day operational challenges. I’ve seen what it actually takes to run and sustain a business. This shift from theory to execution is where my perspective changed. More recently, at Indian School of Business, I started building in the space of working capital management and supply chain financing. This has allowed me to understand the journey of taking an idea from 0 to 1, and thinking about scale from day one.
