Currently working for MSD/Merck animal health IT in Boxmeer, Netherlands. Responsible for providing end-to-end BI solutions to the marketing, commercial, and manufacturing teams. Following the cloud-first strategy and migration of all new projects to the AWS cloud in my current role. Working closely with third party vendors and helping them to deliver on time as part of this enterprise-level digital transformation. Establishing the architecture of on-premises to cloud migrations using different approaches, such as lift and shift or partial or complete re-architectures. Some of the complex systems have already been migrated from Oracle to AWS Redshift and SQL Server to AWS Redshift. Agile methodologies were followed extensively, including scrum ceremonies such as stand-up meetings, scrum review and planning, and retrospectives. Projects were tracked with Kanban or JIRA boards.
