Description:

This is a guided real-world AI project designed for developers, data science learners, and job-seekers looking to build a practical GenAI portfolio project.


You will create a FastAPI-based application where users can upload a CSV file and interact with it using natural language queries. The app will use OpenAI to interpret queries and respond with summaries, filtered results, or charts.

Objective:

To help you build and deploy a complete AI project that demonstrates real-world skills like natural language querying, data processing, API integration, and deployment.


What You'll Build:

  • Upload and read CSV files using Pandas
  • Process user queries using OpenAI (GPT-3.5 or GPT-4)
  • Generate Python code and execute it securely
  • Return data answers or charts (bar, line, pie)
  • FastAPI backend structure
  • Deployed on Vercel with a working public link
  • Handle bad or unsafe queries gracefully
